NY2 series products are single-chip CMOS music and speech synthesis ICs. According to different series, it has 1 Input pin and 5 I/O pins. It utilizes precise internal resistance to oscillate, so no external oscillating resistor is needed. A set of PWM output is built in, so no additional parts are needed. The music synthesis method is programmable square wave and envelope, and the speech synthesis method is 4-bit Advanced LOG-PCM. By changing the Code mask during the manufacturing process, different music voice data can be written into ROM. Users can use the simple Q-Tone, Q-Melody and Quick-IO tool software to quickly develop.
